This week will see two special birthday WOD requests. The first of which will be Lutrell’s birthday celebrated today. Ruth put together the following Athlete Profile in honor of his big day:

Lutrell came to us in October and, coincidentally, not long after that, the post-WOD beer tradition went into effect. While the rest of us were yelling “DONE!” Lutrell ended his WOD with “WHERE’S MY BEER?”
When not CrossFitting, Lutrell can be found longboarding local breaks, watching dice tournaments, or pub crawling in Manhattan Beach in flip flops (giving the finger to establishments requiring dress codes).
Often entertaining us with stories of Ugly Necktie parties and various other lifeguard antics, he also enjoys picking on the substitute CrossFit coach and leading mutinies in 6pm classes. Lutrell has also made himself indispensable by providing a badass soundtrack for our WODs.
