This Tejana chica is our poster child for Hot CrossFit Mommas. She bought into the Kool-Aid when she saw her husband Al continuously crush WODs and have sick gains his first year in CrossFit. But she really got hooked when she came in and tried it for herself. Michelle has doubled, tripled, and quadrupled PRs in these last 10 months, and proudly struts around in every woman’s holy grail: the skinny jeans that we keep in the back of the closet.

When not CrossFitting, Michelle is either shuttling Eman from jiu-jitsu to baseball and molding him into a future CF kids firebreather, introducing Diego to rock climbing and deadlifting baby kettlebells, or visiting CF gyms all over California. Michelle’s background as a nurse makes her an indispensable resource for all sorts of medical advice, from nutrition to proper callous care. Check out her blog for oodles of CrossFit goodness.

    tabata number was 19. 9 wall ball, 6 ring push-ups, 4 row. a tip make sure your first row for calorie is high, it was hard to recover from 4 on the first row, the rest were 8 calories so i clearly did not gain it right…

    3. I was talking to my roomate last night and she brought up my diet. My roomate is kind of, well let’s just say not athletic. She tends to eat a lot of junk food, drinks a ton and looks it. I told her that I dont eat any bread and she says “You’re ok if you don’t eat white bread”. To which, I reply “No, i’m taking out ALL bread” and she says “that’s not healthy.” I really wish marcus was there to back me up.
