Jump

Jumping is fun, jumping is functional. At the gym we do box jumps, bounds, vertical jumps, jumping squats, tuck jumps and double unders. We jump through tires and at the end of each burpee. Every clean, jerk and snatch requires an athlete to jump the weight up the vertical plane. We have even had spontaneous box jump contests erupt just for the fun of it. Sports are filled with jumping movements. Kids jump any chance they get: off of curbs, out of trees, and onto the bed.
While hip extension is the key to the jump, the entire body is used for the movement. Read more from K-Star at San Francisco CrossFit. Now get out and JUMP!!!

So, I asked ruth how many times I run to the pylon ad back for 200m and she said 2x. It was at this moment that I realized I did the “400m Lunge/Squat” workout for 800m. You can imagine how happy that made me.
