Danny, love the WODs, especially the interval one. Keep em coming! You going to make it over to the Games?

another really good one, which we did yesterday (main site WOD)

21 - 18 - 15 - 12 - 9 - 6 - 3

front squat 185#
GHD sit-ups

khalipa encouraged us to pick a weight that we could only do a max of 8 to 10 reps. this really makes the WOD interesting and probably holds true to HQ's philosophy because 185 is pretty heavy for most.

on off days at crossfit santa clara, khalipa will make up a WOD (they follow crossfit HQ schedule). we did this one last thursday and i liked it a lot so i figured i'd share with the group....

3 rounds of AMRAP 5minutes with 2 minute rest between rounds

7 overhead squats (95# for dudes)
7 burpees

my sets for the 3 rounds were 4 - 4 - 4
i really dug this WOD. the AMRAP factor with overhead squats encourages you to keep that weight up there for as many reps as possible. putting it down only to get back into an overhead squat sucks.

i did 7 rounds, but i didn't write down how many pullups i did each round, i know i'm terrible. lauren did well since she is a track star. and jocob was running too fast for me to keep up
