
Holidays are a time for fun and travel. If your tips fall during your planned week of rest, you have it made! Otherwise, trying to get a workout in may seem difficult or next to impossible especially if you are staying in a hotel without a gym. No-equipment workouts allow you to get a quick high intensity workout during vacations or business trips. Some workouts include a 5K run or 75 burpees for time. Another possibility: 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 squats. Eva Twardokens has a website dedicated to great workouts needing no equipment.
You can also get creative with your environment. In Costa Rica last year, I took advantage of nature to get in my workouts.
Example WOD 1:
1/2 mile run down the beach
3 rounds: 20 box jumps (I used drift wood as my box),
20 pushups
Then, 1/2 mile run down the beach
Example WOD 2:
start on the beach, swim out past the surf and back
50 squats
swim past the surf and back
50 burpees
swim past the surf and back
50 v-ups
Example WOD 3:
3 rounds
30 OHS with drift wood
30 situps
100 m sprint
Next time you travel, pick a no-equipment workout from Eva T or get creative with mother nature. Either way get moving!

Work towards setting a new 5RM.
Max rounds in 4 minutes of:
- 5 Burpees
- 7 Front Squats
- 9 Push Jerks
Rest 1 minute. Repeat for a total of 4 cycles.
