Our Philosophy

Our History

Our roots started with a small group of friends in a small garage gym. Today we have many more people in our “small group” of friends, but we never lost that feeling. Joining CrossFit South Bay and Elevate Studio is more than joining a normal gym. You are becoming part of a fitness family of coaches, instructors, athletes, moms, dads, recent college grads, firefighters and even grandparents. You will have a fun, interactive and encouraging atmosphere to workout in. Something as simple as introducing yourself to other members or saying “good job” or giving a high five keeps our community positive and constantly improving. We are dedicated to helping our community get fitter!

Our Gym

We are like 5 gyms under one roof. Fitness is not just about how much you can lift, how far you can run, how you look or how flexible you are. It is all of those things and more. This is why we include yoga, cycling, Pilates and CrossFit under one roof. Elevate Studio was created to house our yoga, cycling and Pilates programs while CrossFit has its own separate training floor. We chose these modalities because together they will get you in the best physical and mental shape of your life. Yoga helps with flexibility and stability. Pilates builds core strength and balance. Cycling increases endurance and stamina. CrossFit improves your strength, explosive speed and metabolic threshold. All of these combined will unlock your true athletic ability.

There is no shortcut, no magic pill or no special exercise equipment, that will magically get you in shape. There is simply hard work. Fortunately, we have the facilities and the coaches to motivate you through the ups and the downs on your path to optimal fitness. You now have the opportunity of becoming the best possible version of yourself. We can help you by teaching you the proper technique, how to eat, when to rest and how to stay accountable. After all, fitness should be something you enjoy, not despise.Together we will improve your strength, flexibility, balance, speed, coordination, core and endurance. Every day is a new, exciting workout.
